NHCA and our affiliated vendors, we greatly appreciate the opportunity to serve our membership. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our potential, current and former customers’ information. The information we obtain from you will be used solely for the purpose of providing the services mutually agreed upon. Any information you provide to us will be protected with industry standard technical safeguards and we will adhere to the standards set forth by relevant governing bodies.

When you visit our web-site you can do so without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. The only information that we collect is that information that you provide voluntarily, such as your membership number. Information may include for example your name, company name, address, e-mail address and phone number. We use this information only to provide you with the information that you have requested from us. WE DO NOT SELL OR DISCLOSE THIS INFORMATION TO ANY OTHER PARTY EXCEPT VENDORS WHO DEAL DIRECTLY WITH THE NHCA.

If you elect to provide us with your information, then any data that you specifically disclose and knowingly provide to us will become the property of the NHCA. This applies to information that is e-mailed, faxed, mailed or provided over the phone. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Customer information is only shared with our vendors when it is necessary to provide the bank card processing, gift and loyalty card services, check services or any other product or service that you may order from us.

We utilize the hardware firewalls, software firewalls and anti-virus software that you would expect us to as well as other security measures that are necessary and required in our industry. Our employees receive rigid training on how to be completely discreet and to totally refrain from discussing customer matters in open forum in the office and outside the office. We are not afraid to take stern disciplinary action if and when it is required.

REFUND POLICY

Processing Credit Card Refunds/Credits NHCA

The following is to be adhered to when processing credit card refunds/credits:

All refunds/credits are to be approved by the Treasurer and President of the NHCA. Pre-approval is preferable if possible. If this management approval is not possible on a daily basis (when officers are absent , the management approval must be performed as part of the weekly or month-end closing process.

 

The above and below controls are designed to prevent and/or detect inappropriate transactions. The requirement that a second person (within management) reviews the transactions for appropriateness is part of a well-designed control environment.
